Dearly friend in Christ,

I send you greetings from Edo State. I was delighted to write you this letter after getting your contact email. I do not know you but if you are truly in Christ we are my Brother and Sister in the Lord.

I am a Brother in the Lord saved by grace that comes through Christ death and resurrection. I came to know Christ 20 years ago when I was still a civil servant. Since I knew Christ His peace have continued to rule in my life and family. I am married with three children and seven grand children who all live far away from me and my wife. We attend a small church here in Benin City. Our church is blessed with pastor loves the Lord with all his heart and encourages the members to seek a deep personal relationship of intimacy with God. We hold our service in a Primary school building. There are about 40 people who attend the church. Most of the members are old. The reason for this is that our church is one of the few churches here where messages are translated from English to the local Language during service. About half of the people do not understand and speak English language which is the national language. I am an interpreter in the church; I translate to our local language as the Pastor preaches in English. The church here is a place where people find comfort and love from every one and from the Lord. Others may abandon us and forsake us but God will love us always and hold us to himself.

We have a great need in our midst in church. Over 15 of people who can read do not have bibles. The bible is Gods seed of life to a soul and most people here do not have it. The problem is bibles are expensive and people here are too poor to buy one mostly many that do not have a job. I am writing and appealing to you for your kind support for bibles and nothing else. There are no persons or ministry in Nigeria who gives bibles to the saints. Please kindly help us. I am asking for 15 bibles in giant letter words a copy for me, and 14 for our brethren. The giant print or letter words are needed because those to use them are old. I will be very grateful is this request is granted. This love from you for bibles will change lives. We have a committed prayer intercessory team here, if there be any prayer need why not send it, we shall join in prayer. There are testimonies from several prayers.

Our pastor always tells us that the Christian journey may not be easy but the end which is heaven is worth everything. May the Lord give you the grace to serve him till the end. Please write me back.
